A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT My dad came to this country with a burning desire to succeed when he and my mother took over the business with 250 customers a long time ago. As a kid I grew up listening to him tell me about taking care of the customer. He worked every Saturday and many hours late at night. I saw this business through the eyes of a teenager and vowed to never get involved in such a demanding industry with little future. Years later I accompanied my parents to a propane gas convention and was surprised by the number of big companies there. I met some of the "Captains of the Industry". I met some of the other people and began to rethink my future. I returned to the business in the early 80's and was forced to learn everything from the ground up. Hocon has grown to a company serving some 35,000 customers in Connecticut and New York. I am proud of the success we have been able to achieve in serving our customers with reliable supply, quality products and great people. I have never forgotten my dad's advice of taking care of the customer and try to stay loyal to his vision of years ago.
