The Hocon Gas pink truck benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure® has been on the road since 2010, delivering propane across the state. A portion of the proceeds from each and every gallon delivered from the pink truck is donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure—without any additional cost to our customers.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is the world’s leading breast cancer charity, Since 1982, this organization has funded more than $920 million in research and more than $2 billion in medical care, support programs and education outreach.
We want everyone to consider the impact that breast cancer has had on someone they know or love and remember that there is a way for them to help. We want to use our resources and the visibility of the pink truck as a tool to stimulate fundraising and awareness that early detection saves lives.
Our employees and customers have been very supportive of this campaign. We use the truck to make deliveries throughout our service area and we have also displayed it at community events.
